Cheryl joined Hulsey, Harwood & Sheridan in 2006 and has been a partner with the firm since 2015. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Louisiana and Texas and a Certified Valuation Analyst serving clients in the areas of business valuations, taxation, reviews and compilations. Cheryl enjoys helping her small business clients with their accounting and tax needs. She also serves on the board of the Scott Foundation.
Cheryl grew up in Monroe, LA, and graduated from Neville High School. She graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1978 with a BBA in Accounting and in 1980 with an MBA. She began working in public accounting in Dallas in 1978 where she worked with Peat Marwick & Co. (now KPMG) and later Lane, Gorman & Trubitt.
Cheryl and husband Jake have two grown children living in Dallas, TX, and one grandson. Cheryl enjoys playing tennis, caring for her horses, and spending time with her family and friends at the lake.

If you could eat one food for rest of your life, what would it be?
Macaroni & cheese -breakfast, lunch & dinner!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A doctor, all the way until that first chemistry class at SMU.
What's the last TV show you binged watched?
Not a show, a channel-the tennis channel-on all the time per my husband.
What's your favorite time of the day?
Early morning when I am out running and see the sun come up.
What's your favorite family tradition?
Annual Thanksgiving croquet game-winner gets his/her name on the plaque.
What's your favorite quote?
Something good is going to happen to you today! My Dad’s way of waking all of us kids up every morning after sounding off the army bugle call.
