Susan has practiced public accounting in Monroe since 1978. She joined the firm in 1979 and was admitted as a partner in 1986. Since that time, she has served clients in a variety of industries. Her experience includes all phases of accounting, auditing, tax, and management advisory services. She especially enjoys consulting on business and tax matters with closely‐held businesses and their owners.
A large portion of Susan’s time is spent working with clients in the automotive dealership industry. She is a member of the AutoCPA Group, the first group of its kind formed by CPAs serving the automotive retail industry. Her focus is primarily in providing financial accounting, income tax planning, and business advisory services for clients in this industry.
Outside of work, Susan serves on the Executive Board of the Cancer Foundation League. She formerly held the office of Treasurer and is currently the President‐Elect. Susan also serves on the Finance Committee of The United Way of Northeast Louisiana. She and her husband, Bob, have three grown daughters and six grandchildren. Of course, her favorite activity is spoiling her precious grandchildren.

What's your role at the firm and how long have you worked here?
I joined the firm in 1979 and was admitted as a partner in 1986.
Did you go to college, and if so, where and what degree did you get?
I graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1977 with a BBA in Accounting.
Tell us about your family.
My husband and I have three daughters who are all grown now. We have six precious grandchildren who are the light of our lives.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Mexican, especially chips & queso!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Probably a math teacher
What's the last TV show you binge-watched?
I guess it would be the old Twilight Zone show when SyFy channel ran a marathon on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
What's your favorite time of day and why?
Late afternoons/evenings. I’m such a night owl so I’m getting my 2nd wind then.
What's your favorite family tradition?
Summer vacations at the beach with the whole extended family – our 3 daughters, sons-in-law, and of course all 6 grandchildren.
What is your favorite Bible verse or motivational quote?
Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
