Q&A with Whitney
What's your role at the firm and how long have you worked here?
I joined the firm in December of 2015 and serve in taxation, compilations, payroll, and bookkeeping for individuals, businesses, and automobile dealerships.
Did you go to college, and if so, where and what degree did you get?
I went to LSU and LSU Shreveport and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Tell us about your family.
I was born and raised in West Monroe. I’m the oldest of 3 sisters. My first nephew was born on my 29th birthday, and now I’m the proud Aunt Wee of 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Potatoes prepared any and all ways. My dad introduced me to crinkle cut fries as a baby and the rest is history.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Pharmacist
What's the last TV show you binge-watched?
The Handmaid’s Tale
What's your favorite time of day and why?
I’ve been reading through the Bible with the Bible Recap in the mornings which I enjoy, but I also love unwinding at the end of a long day.
What's your favorite family tradition?
We have gone to Gulf Shores in the summer since I was young. I really enjoy that time together even more now. We are also big football fans and always enjoy getting together to watch LSU and the Saints.
